Since Summer 2025, IATSE Local 871 members have launched two organizing campaigns – the Accountants & Showrunner’s Assistants. Member-driven campaigns like these are how entertainment workers have secured benefits and strong worker protections from the Studios.

WHO WE FIGHT FOR
IATSE Local 871 members are involved in production from start to finish. The crafts we represent are brought on from the inception of the writer’s room until the last vendor is paid. Our members make up the dynamic behind-the-scenes machine that keeps the gears in Hollywood turning.
